Th 15th day of th 1st lunar month is th Chins Lantrn Fstival bcaus th first lunar month is calld yuan-month and in th ancint tims popl calld night Xiao. Th 15th day is th first night to s a full moon. So th day is also calld Yuan Xiao Fstival in China.
According to th Chins tradition, at th vry bginning of a nw yar, whn thr is a bright full moon hanging in th sky, thr should b thousands of colorful lantrns hung out for popl to apprciat. At this tim, popl will try to solv th puzzls on th lantrns and at yuanxiao (glutinous ric ball) and gt all thir familis unitd in th joyful atmosphr.
